Unity 2023 in review!

About

The 2023 Unity Conference and Annual Meeting took place in Austin, Texas, August 3rd through the 5th. Our in-person portion was hosted at the Austin Convention Center, with a virtual conference option was available for those who were not able to make it in-person. Over 1,200 CHWs and allies gathered in Austin to fellowship, learn, network, and share with each other over the three-day event. During our annual business meeting on Thursday, we saw new board members voted on by members. These board members were then inducted during our celebratory gala on Friday night, along with CHWs being honored through a series of awards, for which they were nominated by their peers. We enjoyed 2 phenomenal keynote speakers, engaging our audience on leadership and the power of love. Our exhibit hall was brimming with poster sessions, sponsor and organization booths, and local vendors from the Austin area sharing their wares.
